Singer Enrique Iglesias received three trophies at the 15th annual Latin Grammy Awards held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The singer accepted the awards from half-way around the globe from Antwerp, Belgium after giving a speech via satellite on Thursday, reports contactmusic.com.

Enrique wasn't able to pick up the trophies in person because he was busy with his ongoing 'Sex and Love' tour. He received the night's Best Urban Performance and Best Urban Song prizes for his hit Bailando, and also scored the coveted Song of the Year accolade.


The night was filled with 20 performances from some of Latin music's biggest artists, including Pitbull, Chris Brown, Ricky Martin and Marc Anthony.

The ceremony was hosted by actors Eugenio Derbez and Jacqueline Bracamontes.

Now, Steve Jobs' Biopic Has No Producer

Initially Christian Bale was expected to play the part but he withdrew from the project.

The upcoming movie about the co-founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, is expected to be one of the most anticipated biopics in recent memory, but the production's future is unknown as Sony Pictures have decided to pull out.

The highly anticipated project, which was been plagued with casting and directing changes, is based on Walter Isaacson's book and adapted into a screenplay by Aaron Sorkin that follows Mr Jobs preparing for three presentations throughout his life that were pivotal moments for himself and the technological company's success, reported Deadline.

Scott Rudin, Mark Gordon and Guymon Casady will be producing, and British filmmaker Danny Boyle is slated to direct the untitled film, which is expected to focus on the launches of Apple's original Macintosh computer (1984), NeXT Cube (1990), and original iPod (2001).


Other studios will now have the opportunity to bid for the rights to the production.

Universal Studios have deep interest in making the biopic with aiming for a release for next year's awards season. However, Sony may have dropped the film due to being unable to cast a leading man to play Mr Jobs.

Initially Christian Bale was expected to play the part but he withdrew at the start of this month. Michael Fassbender has most recently been linked to take on the leading role.

Furthermore, Seth Rogen is reportedly in discussions to portray the other co-founder Steve Wozniak, but no official casting announcement has yet been made. Neither Universal nor Sony have commented on the project as of yet.

Living in big cities might be great for your professional growth, however, you do fear the weekend, for it is the time when you get out onto crowded roads to shop or just roam around. You have to remember though that you take your car out and the biggest problem is parking your car.
But parking is no problem for Chinese wheelman Han Yue as he has done the seemingly impossible by breaking the tightest car parallel parking record. The Guinness Book of World Records has given its official nod to this feat too. Han managed to neatly slide his way into a gap measuring just 8 cm or 3.15 inch longer than the MINI 3 Door Hatch he was driving.
To give you an understanding of what all that is, the gap was probably smaller than the length of your smartphone. Han's feat shaves off 0.6cm from British driver Alastair Moffatt's record set back in July 2013 of 8.6 cm or 3.4 inch. The Chinese stunt driver has previously held the title in 2012 after manoeuvring into a gap of 15 cm (5.91 in).

Bungie Lets You Try Destiny for Free; Transfer Game Progress to Full Game

Bungie earlier this week announced that it is giving gamers a chance to play Destiny free of cost with demo or trial versions that let players get their hands on the game before deciding whether to invest in the full version of the game or not.
The Destiny Trial is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while the Destiny Demo is available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 - both became available on Tuesday, and offer a "sampling of character creation and progression, story mission content, along with cooperative and social activities," as per the announcement made by the firm on its blog post.
The trial version will let players to create their own characters and keep upgrading it to level 7.
Furthermore, the demo version will also let users play five Story Missions set in Old Russia, apart from providing access to the Tower and multiple Tower vendors. Destiny's trial version will also feature multiplayer feature through its Den of Devils 3-player cooperative Strike.
Notably, both versions would allow players to transfer their game progress made to the full version of the game on the same console platform if they decide to buy it.
While the Destiny Trial for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will take up 22.2GB and 20.01GB of disk space respectively, the Demo version will be sized at 5.7GB and 5.2GB for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 respectively.
Sony PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Players who wish to move from the Trial version to the full version of Destiny can do so by going to the upgrade option in the game's menu. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users would have to purchase the video game from their local retailer. Bungie also explains that Destiny won't run on Xbox 360 Arcade Console, Xbox 360 4 GB Console, Xbox 360 Core System, PlayStation3 12 GB System consoles.Activision Publishing in September announced that more than $500 million worth of copies were sold to users making Destiny the biggest ever launch of a new franchise.

Call of Duty Franchise Blasts Past $10 Billion in Sales

 Blockbuster military shooter video game "Call of Duty" has blasted past $10 billion in lifetime sales, propelled by demand for the latest installment in the 11-year-old franchise.

Activision Publishing on Thursday said that the launch of "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" outshined debuts of other games as well as films, books or albums released this year.
Since Activision introduced the first "Call of Duty" in 2003, the series of games has brought in more than $10 billion (roughly Rs. 61,839 crores) in revenue, exceeding box office receipts for smash film franchises such as "Hunger Games" and "Transformers," according to parent company Activision Blizzard's chief Bobby Kotick.
"Advanced Warfare is the biggest entertainment launch of 2014 in terms of revenue, surpassing all movie, music and book launches this year," Kotick said in a release.
Activision Publishing chief Eric Hirshberg predicted that "Advanced Warfare" will be the top selling video game this year but did not disclose how many copies of the game have been sold.

The newest installment of "Call of Duty" hit the streets early this month, pitting soldiers of the future against a Machiavellian villain played by actor Kevin Spacey.
Activision set out to reload the franchise, bringing in studio Sledgehammer Games to put its spin on the title and taking advantage of advanced capabilities in new-generation PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
The story woven into the game features "an iconic new character" played by Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey.
Special gear was used to capture Spacey's movements, expressions and more to create a realistic virtual version of him playing the part of a private military contractor intent on ruling the world.
Future soldiers
The game is set in the year 2054, when a private military corporation run by Spacey's character is the dominant power.
Players take on the roles of soldiers with advance combat abilities due to exoskeleton suits and other equipment.
Versions of "Advanced Warfare" are priced at $60 each. Copies of the game have been tailored for the latest Sony and Microsoft consoles as well as for personal computers powered by Windows software.
Stories in the blockbuster "Call of Duty" military shooter franchise are inspired by historical events, according to Activision.
A California judge recently shot down a lawsuit filed by former Panama dictator Manuel Noriega after his likeness appeared in a "Call of Duty" video game.
Other versions of the game have featured Fidel Castro, John F. Kennedy, and Noriega.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha Gets a 'Silver' Variant in India

Samsung India has announced that its 'metallic' Galaxy Alpha smartphone will now be available in a fourth colour variant.The South Korean company made the announcement via a tweet though it did not announce when the Silver colour variant of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will start shipping in India.
The metal frame sporting Samsung Galaxy Alpha went on sale in India in the first week of October at Rs. 39,990 and has been available in three colour variants - Frosted Gold, Charcoal Black, and Dazzling White. Currently, the Galaxy Alpha is retailing at Rs. 38,990 at the company's official online store and is available in three colour variants.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha runs the Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display. The handset sports dimensions of 132.4x65.5x6.7mm and weighs 115 grams. The Galaxy Alpha is powered by an octa-core chipset (quad-core 1.8GHz plus quad-core 1.3GHz) and there is 2GB of RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage, which is non-expandable.
The Galaxy Alpha sports a 12-megapixel rear camera and also includes 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs an 1860mAh battery. Connectivity options include Micro-USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G/ LTE, and NFC. At launch, Samsung had said that the Galaxy Alpha is compatible with 4G/ LTE bands in India. The Galaxy Alpha also comes with fingerprint scanner and heart rate monitor.
Earlier this month, Samsung's Tizen-based Gear S smartwatch went on sale in India priced at Rs. 27,900.
The Samsung Gear S allows users to make and receive calls via 2G or 3G, and also offers Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi connectivity. It has a separate slot for a SIM card on the back panel along with the heart rate sensor.
